Evalualtion of the Attitudes Towards Disabled Individuals In Turkish Society: Exapmle of Zongul-dak

Background: This study was performed to evaluate the attitudes of people living in a city center Zonguldak City towards disabled individuals. Method: Sample group composed 608 participants who admitted eight Family Health Centers, were 18 years old and more approved participate study. Results: It determined that there statistically significant differences between mean scores for their individuals based on age, education, employment states, states using prosthesis, evaluating own health, with at same house how daily lives are affected by presence within families (p<0.05). Conclusion: Participants generally stated services aids provided as insufficient.
